Tenerife and its wall paintings (1)

Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is known for its volcanic landscapes, black and golden sand beaches and charming villages. Beyond its natural beauty, the island also has a vibrant urban art scene.
From small villages to bustling cities, murals colour the walls with stories, emotions and bold patterns. Each piece, large or small, brings a unique touch to the urban landscape of the island, reflecting both local culture and artistic imagination.

Since I moved to the Canary Islands, I am amazed by the works of art that color the walls of Tenerife, such as La Palma or La Gomera. Little by little, I started to photograph these murals, these graffiti, these often ephemeral artistic expressions, but always vibrant.
I also discovered other forms of urban art, both in the furniture and in the decorations created especially on the occasion of the many popular or religious festivals...
Through this post, I wish to share with you this urban creativity, living testimony of the soul of the islands.
