The north of Tenerife is a fertile land, shaped by volcanic soils and a mild climate. Agriculture remains very present there, with several emblematic crops: the banana (plátano de Canarias), the potato (base of the "papas arrugadas"), avocado and citruss.

These products are found in the markets of local producers, such as those of La Laguna, La Orotava, Tacoronte or even La Guancha, closest to my bed and breakfast, where you can taste the authenticity of the island and meet directly the farmers.
